The Strategic Board of Newcastle Partnership approved the Community Empowerment Framework for the City on 16 June 2009.
The Framework has been written with input from a wide variety of public, private and community and voluntary sector partners. It sets out the commitment of partners in the LSP to increase and strengthen community empowerment in Newcastle.
The Framework sets out a broad definition of what engagement and empowerment mean, a vision of how we intend to take the agenda forward and 40 specific commitments to make things happen.
