The Newcastle Partnership is the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) for Newcastle and brings together, at a local level, a range of public, private, community and voluntary sector groups; allowing different initiatives and services to support one another so that they can work together more effectively. The Newcastle Partnership is responsible for producing and delivering Newcastle's Local Area Agreement and Sustainable Community Strategy.
Newcastle has several areas of longstanding deprivation. As we are all aware, these areas require concentrated efforts by many agencies across all sectors working in partnership.
The excellence of a partnership is determined by the quality of its people. This means ongoing commitment and a strong sense of purpose from all partners, and regular communication between them.
We are confident that by working together we will achieve our ambitious targets and significantly improve the lives of the people we serve. We are equally confident of the important and successful role the Newcastle Partnership will play in reaching these goals.
